Turns out he didn’t even actually “build” the suspicious looking clock.  Add that to the fact that — let’s be honest — it really did look like the bombs that we’ve all seen in movies.

I’m really not sure how to feel about this kid at this point, but I guess if he’s being given opportunities he might as well take them.  The media built quite a narrative around young Ahmed, who is now moving to Qatar to accept a scholarship there.  Maybe what he really deserves a scholarship for is marketing.
